Aucello EyeCare Center: Medical Services
Aucello EyeCare Center offers comprehensive eyecare and friendly, personalized service for patients of all ages. Our doctors are trained to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye diseases and conditions that can affect your vision along with your general eye health and comfort. These include:
Macular degeneration is a chronic, progressive, age-related eye disease characterized by the deterioration of the macula, the part of the retina responsible for sharp central vision.
Dry eye syndrome is a common, often chronic condition that is caused by a lack of or poor-quality tears. Common symptoms of dry eye include redness and a stinging, burning, or itching sensation, typically in both eyes.
Red Eye/Pink Eye
Pink Eye, also known as conjunctivitis, is an infection or inflammation of the thin, transparent lining of the inner eyelid and white part of the eye, leading to an itchy, gritty feeling and redness in one or both eyes.
Amblyopia, more commonly referred to as “lazy eye,” is a vision development disorder where one eye loses or fails to develop normal visual acuity. The condition can cause loss of depth perception or complete loss of vision.
Glaucoma is an eye disease where fibers in the optic nerve are progressively damaged due to an increase in internal eye pressure. If left untreated, glaucoma can eventually lead to total vision loss.
Cataracts are cloudy areas in the lens that can interfere with normal vision, depending on their size and location. Common causes of cataracts include age, injury, eye disease, and genetics.
We also prescribe medications for certain eye diseases and conditions, help with pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery, perform comprehensive eye exams, and provide low-vision aids and vision therapy.
At Aucello EyeCare Center, we want to be your clear choice for quality vision and eye care. We are committed to serving you to the highest quality standards and to helping you achieve the clearest vision possible.
